What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, architecture, and implementation of key components and services for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Lead backend and frontend software development using Symfony, PHP, React, and modern frameworks
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose robust solutions at the database and ORM levels
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with SOX and HIPAA regulatory standards throughout the software development process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack application development
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including ORM best practices
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers across levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Expertise in PHP and Symfony or similar backend frameworks
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices
- Prior experience working in HIPAA/SOX-compliant software environments
- Contribution to open-source projects or technical publications
