Total Wine & More in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Mobile Engineering) to build scalable mobile apps using React Native or React.

You will work with product owners, UX designers, and peers to translate designs into clean, production-ready code and contribute to component libraries for rapid iteration. You will also monitor and troubleshoot production issues, with limited travel to HQ not to exceed 60 days/year.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of React and mobile development experience.
• 5 years experience in production software with JavaScript ES6, HTML5, CSS3.
• 3 years experience in a strongly typed language; Jira or Rally; code reviews, documentation, and version control.
• Little national travel to HQ may be involved not to exceed 60 days/year or 5 days/trip.

Sr. Software Engineer (Mobile Engineering)

for Retail Services & Services, Inc dba Total Wine & More to work at our Boca Raton, FL location.

Leverage in-depth React Native or React experience to build performant, scalable, reusable components. Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and other engineers to translate designs into actionable technical requirements and clean, functional code. Collaborate with product owners, engineering peers, and UX designers to deliver high value business and technology initiatives. Contribute to improving existing functionality and enhancing our end-user experience. Write performant, maintainable, and testable code using prescribed architecture and frameworks. Develop and update the shared component libraries that enable our teams to iterate quickly. Using a mobile‑first mentality, translate functional requirements into highly efficient, user‑friendly applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, identify, and support resolution of production issues.

May undergo background checks including drug screening.

Little national travel to HQ for meetings may be involved not to exceed 60 days/year or 5 days/trip.

Must have Bachelors in Computer Science, Technology, or related field and 5 years related experience in React and Mobile development. Also requires the following skills 5 years experience in: production software development using Javascript ES6, HTML 5, CSS 3; 3 years experience in: a strongly typed language; Jira or Rally agile development tools; code reviews, documentation, and version control.
