Total Wine & More is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (digital/eCommerce) to build scalable software and services in Boca Raton. You will collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate ideas into robust technical requirements and maintainable code.

Responsibilities include creating reusable components, architectural design, and integration work across databases and messaging systems. Mentors junior staff and helps keep production issues under control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in CS, tech, business, or related field with relevant production experience.
• 4 years of relevant production-environment experience (or 2 years with Master’s).
• 2 years of experience with Python and real-time streaming architectures; knowledge of design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable software components and high-performance services.
• Design, create, and maintain integrations across systems with various data stores.
• Mentor and coach mid-level and junior developers and review code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; participate in on-call rotations.

SR. Software Engineer (digital/eCommerce) for Retail Services & Systems, Inc dba Total Wine & More to work at our Boca Raton, FL loc. May telecommute 1 day/week.Build reusable software components and performant services. Design, create, and support integrations of projects. Work with product owners, product managers, business stakeholders, and developers (incl. architecture, & backend engineers) to translate ideas into actionable technical requirements and clean, functional code. Work with a range of development languages, system architecture, and areas of business. Implement services using variety of messaging, data storage, and cloud technologies. Develop and update shared component libraries for quick iterations. Write performant, maintainable, and testable code. Mentor and coach mid-level and junior-level developers.
