Apple’s Partner Solution & Technology group seeks a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Core Data Engineer, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, integrity, and quality of our data systems, playing a key role in maintaining data standards, implementing quality initiatives, and developing metrics.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop, and implement data quality strategies, processes, and tools.
2. Analyze data models and infrastructure, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
3. Develop data pipelines for the master data management platform.
4. Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to resolve data quality issues.
5. Develop and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards, and reports.
6. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other teams to define data quality requirements.
7. Ensure high performance, privacy, security, scalability, and reliability.
8. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for data issues.
9. Continuously improve data quality processes through automation and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise applications on large-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years as a Data Quality and Governance Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
• Experience with data quality and governance tools such as Informatica.
• Deep SQL expertise, data modeling, and data governance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
• Self-starter, capable of handling ambiguity and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Python and Java programming.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms like Snowflake, AWS, Azure.
• Certifications in data governance or MDM.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Pay & Benefits

Apple offers a total compensation package, with base pay ranging from $175,800 to $264,200, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, discounts, educational reimbursements, stock programs, and more. Learn more about Apple Benefits.
