Description

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Design, develop, and implement data quality strategies, processes, and tools
2. Analyze data models and infrastructure, identify gaps, and suggest architectural improvements
3. Develop and build data pipelines for master data management platforms
4. Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality
5. Develop and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards, and reports
6. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to define requirements and processes
7. Ensure solutions are high-performing, secure, scalable, and reliable
8. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for data issues
9. Continuously improve data quality processes through automation and innovation

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building enterprise applications on large-scale distributed systems
• 5+ years as a Data Quality and Governance Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques
• Experience with data quality and governance tools like Informatica
• Deep SQL expertise, data modeling, and data governance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Understanding of data quality principles and methodologies
• Self-starter capable of handling ambiguity and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Python, Java
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, AWS, Azure
• Certifications in data governance or MDM
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders

At Apple, compensation includes base pay, stock programs, benefits, and educational reimbursements. The pay range for this role is $175,800 to $264,200, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, discounts, and educational support. Eligibility for bonuses, stock options, and relocation varies by individual.
