Pay Range
USD $105,271.00 - USD $131,588.00 /Yr.

Overview
We are growing and adding a Sr. Software Engineer, Data Governance to our team!
This role involves implementing and developing our Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC) and Data Quality & Observability platforms. The responsibilities include executing our Enterprise Data Governance Strategy focusing on data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality, ensuring trusted, high-quality data across Navitus.
Responsibilities
Impact on the team:
- Lead deployment, configuration, and customization of Collibra DIC and Data Quality & Observability platforms.
- Implement data governance, cataloging, metadata management, and data quality rules aligned with business and compliance needs.
- Catalog internal and external data assets using Collibra, leveraging connectors and APIs.
- Build data profiling and lineage analysis to visualize data relationships and dependencies.
- Maintain Collibra operating models, domain communities, and metadata integrations, documenting data assets and definitions.
- Work with data stewards and owners to design and deploy data quality rules, lineage, policies, and KPIs within Collibra.
- Guide and mentor team members, acting as a Collibra subject matter expert.
- Support compliance, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we expect from you:
- BA/BS in business, economics, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Collibra Ranger or Steward certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data governance and data quality implementation.
- 7+ years of direct experience with Collibra DIC and Data Quality & Observability platforms.
- Strong experience with Collibra workflows, policies, and integrations (REST API, Java).
- Experience with databases and storage systems like Oracle, NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture.
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare preferred).
- Programming experience in Python, Java, Unix preferred.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Familiarity with JIRA and data privacy frameworks like HIPAA preferred.
- Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
