Job Summary
Comcast Business Public Sector IT is an organization within Comcast’s Technology and Product Division, mainly located on the east coast (greater Philadelphia and the DC area). We support IT applications and infrastructure for the Comcast Business Public Sector LOB serving federal and state agencies.
We are growing and adding a new team to support our government vertical. We seek innovative, hardworking individuals to help us establish and scale a new IT organization in a fast-growing company. Job Description
This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship. To be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
In this role, you will gain exposure to the entire IT ecosystem supporting our new Comcast Business Public Sector LOB, ensuring it is secure, reliable, resilient, and supports efficient business processes with customer-centric applications. You will help set the IT vision and roadmap for this greenfield ecosystem, focusing on architecture, development, deployment, and support of applications and infrastructure.
As a Senior Software Development and Engineering Engineer, you will plan, design, analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications. You will oversee documentation, train non-technical personnel, track performance metrics, and act as a key contributor in a complex environment. You may lead teams or projects and share your expertise.
