As a software engineer, you ask yourself, “What’s the best way to make this work?” Stack Overflow, API Documentation, and Google are some of your BFFs, and thoughts of introducing bugs gives you nightmares. You are a fantastic teammate and an even better employee. Keyboard shortcuts are second nature. Your sense of big picture views and small detail focus are enviable. You see impossible requests as a challenge, not as a wall. You’re bright, passionate, and driven. You can work well with others and work efficiently when accomplishing independent tasks.

The Fun Stuff

• Define, document, and communicate front end development standards, best practices, code review processes, and build websites and tools.
• Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements.
• Analyze user needs to determine the most effective solutions.
• Design and develop visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces and intuitive navigation.
• Immerse yourself in modern best practices, including code reviews, continuous integration and deployment, and iterative development.
• Review, maintain, and improve user-facing code.

The Necessities

• You have 12 years of experience (degree(s) may reduce years req.).
• You have the ability to troubleshoot software and web problems and provide solutions to overcome those problems.
• You can test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative software solutions.
• You have a passion for creating innovative web applications.
• You are an excellent communicator, mentor, and team player that works both independently and in collaboration with others.
• TS/SCI, CI poly will be required

The Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Federal government client
• Experience with Java, XML

Work location is on-site in Springfield, VA.

Salary Details

Salary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non-billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
