At PlayStation, we are in search of a highly motivated Sr Software Engineer (Back End with ML Experience) to join our innovative team in San Mateo, CA! This is a ground-breaking opportunity to contribute in building exceptional gaming experiences using powerful computer vision and AI technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain RESTful Web Services API and algorithms
  • Build, train, test, and deploy ML models
  • You are expected to develop innovative algorithms to solve novel problems, make technology choices, prototype solutions and bring them to production
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver features on time, respond to evolving requirements, and adapt to strategic shifts in direction
  • Produce detailed design and architecture documentation
  • Apply Agile/Scrum software development methodology to ensure flawless execution
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of proven design and programming experience in Python developing highly scalable web server applications based on object-oriented design patterns and powered by NoSQL data stores on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience in Machine Learning and Computer Vision programming, with a solid understanding of computer architecture and performance
  • Deep Learning framework experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Computer Vision, Graphics, and/or Game Engines is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$187,700 - $281,500 USD
