Job summary

Stanley Reid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of LLM applications and services for a defense/security-focused program in Columbia, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph and involvement in a robust contract portfolio across Maryland and Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of software experience, strong AI/LLM background, and expertise in Python/Java/Go, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes/Docker.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI, LLMs, and RAG techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong cloud platforms experience.
• Hands-on with containerization: Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible.
