Job summary

RTC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL to lead design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications. You will gather requirements, design scalable solutions with DBAs, and deliver full life-cycle development across UI, backend, and batch processing using JavaScript, C#, MVC, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and SQL.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience, with a background in senior/management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of development experience.
• 4 years with: gathering requirements, producing functional and technical specifications, evaluating existing and latest technologies, designing and conducting unit system and integration tests, training external users and creating training materials.
• Knowledge of C#; MVC; Entity Framework; ASP.NET; forms; Web APIs; SQL: DB and table design, PL/SQL, stored procedures and functions; deploying and maintaining application on server; JavaScript; JQuery; XML; JSON.
• Experience as being employed in a Senior/Management role.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $109,830 - $134,418 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role. Bonuses are paid based on RTC's financial results. Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date. Program rules are subject to change at management's discretion.
