Qualifications

• Senior-level software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Python.
• Experience with Java, C#, or C++.
• Buy-side experience required, preferably within a hedge fund environment.
• Experience supporting Treasury, Fund Accounting, Prime Brokerage, Financing, Stock Loan, or related business areas.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of business-critical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software solutions supporting Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance, and Middle Office functions.
• Build and enhance Python-based applications used across critical business operations.
• Work across both modern and legacy technology stacks, including object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Own systems end-to-end, including architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve business-critical production issues when escalation is required.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and database structures supporting enterprise applications.

This team develops and owns business-critical applications supporting Treasury, Fund Accounting, Compliance, Middle Office, and other operational functions across the organisation.
