Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL (Hybrid) to lead the development of complex software frameworks and advanced applications, with AI/ML integration to support national defense initiatives.

The role involves mentoring engineers, design reviews, and delivering production-ready software across multiple languages. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience and a BS in CS/SE, with strong C++, Python, and DevOps skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of professional software development experience, including experience in Software Development Life Cycle processes and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in C++, Golang, Rust, or Python, with strong experience in at least one language and a willingness to learn the others. Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory is required, along with experience in UI/UX design and SQL.

Role Overview

This organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of complex software frameworks and advanced applications. The successful candidate shall guide engineering design, software development, and system implementation while serving as a mentor and technical resource for the team. This position involves designing and implementing software that integrates with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to support national defense technology initiatives.
