Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex, mission-critical software systems, with high autonomy and visibility in critical operations. Location is Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and candidates must hold an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable and secure software, using agile methodologies, and mentoring junior engineers.

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of sophisticated software systems supporting mission-critical programs.
Apply advanced software engineering principles and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Work independently on complex functional tasks while contributing to the overall technical direction of the program.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and security requirements across the full development lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and, when assigned, overseeing the work of staff supporting specific initiatives.
Support high-visibility efforts where reliability, performance, and security are paramount.

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
