Job summary

LogRocket, Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer for a full-time role in Boston, MA. You will design scalable systems handling millions of events and real-time log search, while integrating AI-assisted development tools.

You should bring 4+ years in full-stack development, cloud architecture familiarity, and a passion for building AI-powered product features with modern JavaScript frameworks. This on-site role includes competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a full stack development role.
• Familiarity with the state of the art in cloud technologies, including architectural principles, specific tools of the trade, and their strengths and weaknesses
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and excited about building AI-powered capabilities into the product
• Familiarity with modern Javascript-based applications and frameworks
• At least one previous full-time software engineering role

Responsibilities

• Design a system to automatically detect the most common user paths across millions of events
• Implement a search backend that allows users to search in real time across billions of log entries
• Build a machine learning pipeline that automatically detects bugs in our users' apps
• Automate database scaling to improve operating cost while maintaining the ability to respond to traffic spikes
• Build a system that automatically recommends integrations for customers based on their toolset

$135,000 - $200,000 a year

This range is intended to provide a guideline for our typical compensation and may be modified based on location or experience of our finalist candidate.
