Job summary

LogRocket in New York, NY is seeking a full-time software engineer to join our fast-growing team. You will design systems to handle millions of events, build a scalable search backend, and contribute to AI-powered features across the stack.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in full‑stack development, experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud architectures, and fluency with AI-assisted tools like Copilot or Claude Code. We value curiosity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least one previous full-time software engineering role.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).
• 4+ years of experience in a full-stack development role.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript-based applications and frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design a system to automatically detect the most common user paths across millions of events.
• Implement a search backend that allows users to search in real time across billions of log entries.
• Build a machine learning pipeline that automatically detects bugs in our users’ apps.
• Automate database scaling to improve operating cost while maintaining the ability to respond to traffic spikes.
• Build a system that automatically recommends integrations for customers based on their toolset.
