Job summary

LogRocket, Inc. is hiring a senior full stack developer to design scalable systems for tracking user experiences and diagnosing issues across millions of events. The role emphasizes AI-assisted tooling and a modern JavaScript-based frontend and backend.

You will work on cloud-native components, automation for scaling databases, and real-time search capabilities while exploring AI-powered features to enhance product capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a full stack development role.
• Familiarity with the state of the art in cloud technologies, including architectural principles and tradeoffs.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and excited about building AI-powered capabilities into the product.
• Familiarity with modern Javascript-based applications and frameworks.
• At least one previous full-time software engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Design a system to automatically detect the most common user paths across millions of events.
• Implement a search backend that allows users to search in real time across billions of log entries.
• Build a machine learning pipeline that automatically detects bugs in our users' apps.
• Automate database scaling to improve operating cost while maintaining the ability to respond to traffic spikes.
• Build a system that automatically recommends integrations for customers based on their toolset.

• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and excited about building AI-powered capabilities into the product
• Familiarity with modern Javascript-based applications and frameworks
• At least one previous full-time software engineering role

$135,000 - $200,000 a year

This range is intended to provide a guideline for our typical compensation and may be modified based on location or experience of our finalist candidate.
