The Sleep Technologist is responsible for performing and evaluating routine and specialized overnight polysomnograms (PSGs), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs), Home Sleep Apnea Tests, and ensuring patient safety. Key duties include calibrating equipment, attaching sensors, performing bio-calibration, monitoring lab equipment, and observing patients during sleep. The technologist must make decisions to initiate Bi/CPAP titration or other treatments if lab criteria are met. They will also score polysomnographic recordings upon request.
This position may require occasional daytime work to perform MSLTs, infant and pediatric recordings, scoring, and other functions as directed by the lab manager.
$32.66 - $43.12 per hour
