Job summary

Innosoft Corporation in Columbia, SC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, configure, and implement the ServiceNow platform for ITSM stakeholders in the Department of Admin. You will mentor junior engineers and help integrate third-party and cloud solutions, becoming a subject-matter expert in ServiceNow.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, computer science, or related field with 2 years ITIL experience, OR an associate degree with 4 years ITIL experience.
• Strong knowledge in managing/developing a large ServiceNow environment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and gather technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Dev, Test, Production ServiceNow environments with configurations and upgrades.
• Create and enhance forms, workflows, and integrations to ServiceNow, including automation and self-service features.
• Leverage ServiceNow for multi-cloud provisioning and governance to optimize workflows.

Project Overview

Under limited supervision the employee will design,develop, test, configure, implement and provide top-level support for theServiceNow platform used by ITSM stakeholders in the Department of Admin. Theemployee will research third party/cloud solutions to ensure successfulintegration of the technology and provide knowledge transfer to team members.They will be deep application and technology skillset subject matter experts.The Sr. Software Engineer plays a critical role in mentoring Software Engineersand Associate Software Engineers to ensure we are growing future talent

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains thethree environments (Dev, Test, Production) of ServiceNow for Admin, includingconfigurations, changes, system updates promotions, cloning, and security.
• Create,maintain and enhance forms, workflows, cloud integration and 3rd partyintegrations to the ServiceNow platform. Including automation and/or additionalself-service features and functions.
• IncorporateServiceNow capabilities to create a unified framework for multi-cloud resourceprovisioning and governance. utilize ServiceNow toolset to enhance workflow forprocess automation.

Requirements

Education and Certifications:

• A bachelor'sdegree in communications, business administration, computer science, Managementof information science, or related field, and two years of hands-on experiencewith implementing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), OR anassociate degree in communications, business administration, computer science,management information science or a related field and four years of hands-onexperience with implementing ITIL.

Required Skills:

• Strongknowledge and experiencing managing/developing a large scale ServiceNowenvironment

• Must be ableto work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability tocommunicate and gather technical requirements from customers.
