Job description

Sr. Seller Success Manager, Dealer Groups, Amazon Autos

Job ID: 10596909 | Amazon Advertising LLC

Are you a relationship builder who thrives on solving complex, multi-stakeholder problems at enterprise scale? Do you want to shape how the nation's largest dealer groups experience Amazon?

Amazon Autos is revolutionizing the vehicle discovery and shopping experience, connecting customers with their ideal vehicle. As a Senior Seller Success Manager at Amazon Autos, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your entrepreneurial spirit and tackle complex challenges alongside industry‑leading professionals.

As a Senior Seller Success Manager, you will be the single‑threaded owner of Amazon’s largest and most complex dealer group client relationships — accounts that span multiple dealership locations, corporate partner entities, and the nation’s largest dealer groups. You will own the relationship from the corporate suite to the individual store, build the growth strategy that ties them together, and drive the work required to deliver it.

The defining challenge of this role is operating at two altitudes simultaneously. At the enterprise level, you will build relationships with C‑Suite executives, Regional Vice Presidents, and Directors to set strategy and unlock expansion. At the rooftop level, you will ensure that strategy translates into execution — that every store is optimized, that product utilization is high, and that performance trends are moving in the right direction. Doing that well takes strong business acumen, the analytical rigor to connect store‑level data to enterprise‑level insights, the consultative skill to deliver recommendations that dealer leadership acts on, and the ability to navigate complex organizations where priorities differ at every level.

Above all, you must demonstrate a high level of ownership and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. If you're ready to take on a challenging, yet rewarding role in a start-up‑like environment, we encourage you to apply for this Senior Seller Success Manager position on the Amazon Autos team.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to advocate for dealer needs, capture product feedback, and close the loop with internal teams and dealers.
  • Drive product utilization and minimize churn. Train dealers, coordinate workshops, and implement targeted retention strategies for at‑risk accounts.
  • Build the systems that drive consistency at scale. Develop playbooks, workflows, and reporting frameworks that reduce variability across all locations within a dealer group. Create reusable mechanisms and best practices that enable the broader team to operate more effectively.
  • Own group‑level issues and escalations end to end. Diagnose root cause rather than routing symptoms, and drive resolution with the accountable team.
  • Own group‑level analytics and performance consultation. Compile group‑level scorecards that translate rooftop activity into enterprise‑level insights, and consult on optimization tied to each dealer’s goals and market trends.
  • Build and execute a growth plan for your dealer group. Use performance data to find where the group is under‑indexed by market, rooftop, and vehicle condition, and drive it to a measurable outcome. Propose expansion opportunities and growth pilots with clear success metrics.
  • Build and run the operating relationship with your dealer group. Establish recurring cadences at the corporate and rooftop level, and proactively monitor dealer satisfaction and account health.
  • Own your dealer group’s performance on Amazon end to end. Build trusted relationships from rooftop General Managers through corporate Directors, Vice Presidents, and C‑Suite executives.
A day in the life

Your primary responsibilities include driving sustainable dealer growth on Amazon through data‑driven insights and marketplace expertise, partnering with dealer leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, advocating on behalf of dealers while developing customized solutions, and managing escalations to ensure exceptional dealer satisfaction and account health across your portfolio. You will work cross‑functionally with internal teams and externally with GM and VP‑level dealer contacts.

This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will manage rooftop‑level accounts with operational rigor while simultaneously building the enterprise‑wide systems — playbooks, reporting frameworks, standardized processes — that enable scale. You will balance the immediate needs of individual dealership locations with the long‑term strategic priorities of corporate partnerships. Within established parameters, you will determine the right frequency to meet with all assigned dealers based on account plans, each dealer's individual needs, and prioritization across your portfolio.
