Reading Hospital is seeking a Security Supervisor 2 to lead a team of security officers, plan patrol routes, monitor performance, and respond to incidents to ensure safety across the facility. The role collaborates with clinical leaders and law enforcement, focusing on effective security operations.

Hours are Friday-Sunday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each position includes four (4) hours of overlap each week, with the specific day and time to be determined based on operational needs.
Part of the Patrol Division, the Security Supervisor 2 leads a team of security officers who patrol assigned areas, ensuring the safety and security of the facility or property. This position involves planning patrol routes, monitoring officer performance, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. The Security Supervisor 2 is expected to handle more complex security issues and often works closely with clinical and organizational leaders, law enforcement and/or emergency responders. The Security Supervisor 2 plays a key role in training and mentoring junior officers, ensuring they are equipped to handle various security challenges. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
