JOB SUMMARY:

Sr. Scrum Master is a servant leader of a highly collaborative development team practicing Agile and delivering to the business in an iterative manner, using Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and leading without authority. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives under ambiguity, and embraces change passionately. They help their team adopt and improve on the Scrum methodology, coaching their team to higher levels of maturity by continually improving their process, and ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework.

Job Roles And Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for one Scrum team, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  2. Enable the team to become high performing, predictable, empowered, and self-organized
  3. Coach and guide the team in Agile delivery best practices, foster an agile mindset, and a culture of continuous improvement
  4. Ensure the team works at a sustainable pace and protect the team from external distractions
  5. Measure team delivery maturity and performance, review metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities
  6. Capture, maintain, and report KPIs
  7. Assist with, and/or participate in, PI Planning
  8. Assist with release planning and deployment activities, as needed
  9. Participate in the Scrum Master Community of Practice, sharing ideas, observations, and opportunities for improvement
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)
  1. Must have 2 years as a Scrum Master driving delivery teams OR 4+ years as a Scrum team member (Release Train Engineer or Software Developer or Software Quality Assurance) or 2+ years as an IT Project Manager. PI Planning experience is a plus.
  2. Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding of all major workflows associated with healthcare claim processing is preferred.
  3. Strong communication (oral, written, listening), project management, analytic, organizational, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, planning, and technical skills
  4. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization
  5. Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements
  6. Commitment to excellent customer service and follow-through
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects, continuously evaluating and re-prioritizing as business needs change
  8. Effective presentation skills for internal and external audiences
  9. Flexibility and creativity in problem solving and process improvements
  10. Business-oriented mindset to anticipate needs
  11. Adherence to corporate work ethic standards
  12. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 years of related experience. Scrum Master Certification is highly advantageous.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120K to $130K, depending on education, experience, skills, work location, and internal equity. The role also includes health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunities.
