Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior/Principal Scientist to provide technical oversight for peptide and/or oligonucleotide manufacturing in external contract manufacturing. You will lead tech transfer, process stewardship, and data-driven decisions within cGMP frameworks while coordinating with global teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a scientific field, 3+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and comfort with regulatory expectations. Some travel (<25%) and onsite work are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory guidance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide/oligonucleotide manufacturing at external CMOs.
• Lead tech transfer, process stewardship, and investigations.
• Support regulatory submissions with technical input and maintain documentation.
