Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking an API-EM Sr. Scientist to provide technical oversight for peptide manufacturing at external contract manufacturers.

You will ensure compliant, validated processes while coordinating with external partners and site management to meet global quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring processes, addressing issues, and driving continuous improvement within a cGMP framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience and regulatory familiarity.
• Experience working with cGMPs and regulatory expectations.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide manufacturing processes.
• Lead resolution of manufacturing-related technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build relationships with development and central technical organizations.
• Document process descriptions, measures, and specifications with justification.
