The Position

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Scientist to join our discovery DMPK group within the Chemistry Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding the ADME properties of Arrowhead's TRIM platforms targeting new cell types.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft ADME study requests
2. Perform cell separation, enrichment, and depletion as needed
3. Conduct LC-HRMS, LC-UV, or qPCR-based quantitation
4. Interpret ADME results to optimize drug delivery
5. Lead discovery DMPK efforts and present data in cross-functional meetings
6. Accurately document experimental procedures and results
7. Execute assays efficiently to meet deadlines
8. Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to achieve project goals within deadlines

Requirements:

• PhD in pharmacology or biological sciences
• Hands-on experience with quantitation methods listed above from biological matrices
• Experience with cell separation, enrichment, or depletion techniques
• Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and resilience in problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive approach

Preferred:

• Extensive experience in cell separation, enrichment, and depletion
• Practical understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics

Salary range in Wisconsin: $100,000—$130,000 USD. Arrowhead offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
