Job summary

NOVUS International is seeking a professional to lead sales and profit growth in the US Midwest (IA, CA, NE, IN, OH, WI, MN, MO, IL) for Novus products, partnering with nutritionists and industry leaders to drive market strategy and technical service.

The role requires 2–5 years in sales/marketing, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, fluent English, and the ability to travel up to 3–5 days per week. A hybrid work model supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable training and 2-5 years of sales and marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of Novus and other industry products relevant to the poultry industries.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for effectively and positively interacting with customers, potential customers, colleagues and industry personnel.
  • Development of business strategies, plans and tactics with clear communication with the Novus sales manager and with other NORAM sales personnel.
  • Efficiently manage Novus' resources within the Midwest territory.
  • Work within Novus, being part of a team effort in maximizing product development and sales.
  • Must be licensed, insurable and able to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to travel 3-5 days per week, 3 out of 4 weeks per month. Most is by company car, with some by air.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development of NORAM Sales and Marketing team and market intelligence.

General Responsibilities

This role is responsible for achieving specific sales and profit goals within the US Midwest territory (IA, CA, NE, IN, OH, WI, MN, MO, IL ) in line with the overall NORAM strategy. The role is responsible for recommending and implementing approved market strategies for all Novus products within the territory. It is also responsible for defining, recommending and assisting in the implementation of effective technical service.

  • Manage Novus business to maximize revenue and profit, short term and long term, in the Midwest territory. Includes working with members of consulting nutritionists, layers, and turkeys.
  • Contribute to the development of an efficient NORAM Sales and Marketing team, including submission of timely and thorough market intelligence, pro-actively sharing selling tools, market information, and taking responsibility for personal development.
  • Build greater partnerships with all customers in the territory through regular sales calls and participation in industry meetings to ensure alignment on business strategy.
  • Maintain close relationship with Novus Marketing, Technical Services and Customer Service to secure alignment on business strategy.
  • Compliance with the Novus Management System, Novus Integrity System and all policies and procedures related to position assignment. Professionally represent Novus International at all times by adhering to the highest ethical standards.
