The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing brand awareness, and maintaining relationships with regional utilities, developers, and customers. This role requires strategic thinking, a deep understanding of the US energy storage market, and close collaboration with the Americas leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned region while meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Brand Development and Awareness: Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance brand presence across the US, and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and online/offline events
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with regional project developers, utilities, and commercial and industrial customers, and manage contract execution including PO placement, delivery coordination, and customer training
• Market Intelligence: Actively monitor the US energy storage landscape and provide timely market insights and competitive intelligence to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 7+ years of sales experience in the energy industry, with at least 3 years in a senior sales role
• Strong understanding of the electrical and electronics manufacturing market, particularly Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with an established network of industry contacts in the US
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent communication skills with a client-facing orientation
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with US energy regulations, FERC policy, and relevant state-level electricity markets is a strong asset
• Ability to travel as needed within the assigned region and nationally
