Job description

HiTHIUM's project management team is growing! As a Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day execution of BESS projects, coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on spec. This role is a strong fit for someone who has built their PM foundation in a structured environment such as a production facility, EPC firm, or engineering company, and is looking to grow their career in the energy storage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned BESS projects through the full execution lifecycle, serving as a key point of contact for clients and partners.
• Maintain strong day-to-day client relationships, communicating project status clearly and proactively flagging issues.
• Support supplier and subcontractor relationships in coordination with senior team members.
• Ensure project activities align with company policies, contract requirements, and performance standards.

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking, and proactively manage progress against plan.
• Coordinate across internal departments including engineering, procurement, and logistics to keep projects moving.
• Support the implementation of quality control programs and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
• Prepare regular status reports and communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear, organized manner.
• Support contract administration including tracking change orders, submittals, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
• Identify project risks and escalate with proposed mitigation strategies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate team members and vendors to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Industry Background: Background in a production/manufacturing environment, EPC firm, or engineering organization strongly preferred. Familiarity with BESS or renewable energy is a plus; a genuine interest in the sector is a must.
• Experience: 5+ years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering, construction management, or a related field. PMP Certification a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project required. Experience with Procore or similar platforms is helpful.
• Collaboration: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and keep multiple stakeholders aligned.
• Communication: Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting project updates to clients and internal leadership.
• Travel: Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
