Description

Sr. Sales Engineer, Southeast

Celona is seeking a Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales technical interactions with customers, prospects, partners, and service providers. Responsibilities include product presentations, customer training, proof of concept testing, and deployments of Celona private 5G LAN solutions.

This individual must be located in the Southeast of North America near a major airport, ideally in Georgia or Florida, as the role requires 50-70% travel.

Customers are typically larger enterprise or mid-market organizations supporting mission-critical applications across wireless infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Create and deliver technical product presentations and training to technical and product groups of customers, service providers, and channel partners.
  • Participate in consultations with prospective customers and validate product capabilities relevant to the sales process.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, architects, and support staff to align customer requirements with Celona's products.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure pre- and post-sales engagement with partners.
  • Conduct pre-sales tests, demos, proof of concept, and trial networks.
  • Build long-term relationships, establishing trust and value with customers, service providers, and partners.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to plan and execute demand generation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to define product and market requirements.
  • Travel within the territory to visit clients and attend trade shows, and occasionally to Celona events.
  • Assist in developing technical marketing collateral such as white papers and data sheets.
  • Document product requirements from customers and communicate these to stakeholders.

Ideal Skillsets and Experience:

  • Strong background in enterprise wireless networking, including 4G/5G cellular technologies or cloud-managed networking solutions.
  • Experience designing and building enterprise Wi-Fi or carrier-grade 4G/5G networks.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring live networks.
  • At least 4 years in wireless product sales.
  • Experience in start-up environments delivering initial product versions.
  • Knowledge of L2 and L3 networking technologies, including VLANs, 802.11, Routing, and Mobile/Cellular Network Architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for quality, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70%.
  • Comfort working outside of comfort zones with a 'let's get it done' attitude.

Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 OTE, depending on skills and experience.
