  • This role is expected to work remotely but will require travel to meet with Partners in their offices.
  • The salary mentioned refers to the 70%, which includes base pay; there is an additional 30% commission based on sales and goal achievement.

Location Expectations

Southeastern U.S. is preferred, specifically Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX. Other locations may be considered.

About this opportunity

The Senior Sales Engineer supports sales teams with solution selling into Managed Service Provider Partners, integrating Ericsson solutions into their offerings. Responsibilities include strategic deal planning, complex sales cycle management, and ensuring high renewal and customer satisfaction rates. Success metrics include renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and sales achievement against quota.

What You Will Do
  • Support sales with solution selling into prospect accounts.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
  • Match partner requirements to solutions effectively.
  • Manage technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Assist partners with configurations, testing, and validation of Ericsson solutions.
  • Train partner technical teams on Ericsson solutions.
  • Help create processes and documentation for Ericsson solutions in partner offerings.
  • Gather and document competitive intelligence.
  • Communicate client needs to R&D for future product improvements.
  • Serve as a senior technical resource within Ericsson's Sales Engineering team.
The Skills You Bring
  • 10+ years of Solution Sales experience or a bachelor’s degree with 3-5+ years of relevant experience. Managed Service experience is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior executives.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Technical background in networking and information security.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and creative skills.
  • Self-motivated, with integrity and accountability.
  • Business strategy acumen and collaboration skills.
  • Decisive problem-solving skills and situational assessment.
