As a Sales Engineer at Qdrant, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process, combining your technical expertise with a keen understanding of customer needs to provide tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and capabilities of Qdrant's vector database technology. You will work closely with potential clients, understanding their technical challenges, and demonstrating how our solutions can meet their requirements. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between the technical and sales aspects of our business, ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement to successful implementation.

Tasks
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, identifying how Qdrant's solutions can address their challenges.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proofs of concept that clearly articulate the value and benefits of Qdrant's vector database technology.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, answering technical questions and addressing concerns related to DevOps, distributed systems, and database architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in vector database technology, ensuring that our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and insights, contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of Qdrant's products.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of database systems and search engines.
  • Understanding of vector search concepts.
  • Strong programming skills in languages in Python.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
