Datavations, a New York-based data and AI software company, seeks a Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives through the full sales cycle. You will validate data against prospect numbers, build analyses, and present to technical and executive audiences.
This is a hands-on, central role in the sales process. Expected to turn data into clear business insights, scope technical requirements, and deliver compelling demonstrations while collaborating with sales, customer success, and product
Datavations is a leading New York-based data and AI software specializing in the $2.3 trillion dollar building materials industry. Datavations gives building materials and home improvement manufacturers real-time, store-level visibility into pricing, assortment, and inventory across major retailers, including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards. Manufacturers use this data to make sharper decisions about pricing, distribution, and how they show up on the shelf.
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle — from the first technical conversation through close. You’ll validate our data against a prospect’s own numbers, build the analysis that makes our value obvious, and present and defend that analysis directly to technical and executive audiences. This is a hands‑on, technical role at the center of the sales process, not a supporting one.
Preferred Location: NY, Chicago, Dallas, Cincinnati, Minneapolis
