Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Montana. The role requires self-motivation to perform negotiations, title research, and mapping tasks with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in ROW, a related degree, and strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills. The position focuses on pipelines, easements, and regulatory compliance. On-site role in Montana with field collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in the Right-of-Way industry, primarily negotiating easements for pipelines.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies.
• Represents client professionally and diffuses tense situations quickly.
• Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline ROWs, and easements.
• Settle surface damages and ensure access to company assets.
• Understand surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws related to ROW operations.
• Conduct internal and external title research in courthouse with little supervision.
• Operate mapping software (GIS, Google Earth) and learn client internal mapping systems.
• Interpret drawings and redline as needed (alignment drawings, plats, permit/temporary/workspace/construction drawings).
• Navigate multiple client databases and conduct online research.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and database use.
• Work well in a team or independently.

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Montana.The individual we are looking for must be a self-starter and able to perform thetasks belowwith very little or no supervision.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies.
• Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quickly.
• Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assets.
• Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to Right of Way operations.
• Able to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervision.
• Mapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems).
• Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings).
• Ability to navigate multiple client databases.
• Ability to conduct online research.
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.
• Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Right-of-Way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines;
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.
