Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Sr. ROW Supervisor in Junction City/New Lexington, Ohio. The role requires a proactive self-starter capable of supervising right-of-way agents, negotiators, and contractors while coordinating with project managers and clients.

The candidate will manage timelines and budgets, negotiate surface use agreements, and ensure access to company assets. Strong knowledge of ROW laws and experience with title research and mapping software are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in the right-of-way industry, primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines.
• Three years of experience managing right-of-way agents.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.

Responsibilities

Job description

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of Sr.ROW Supervisor in Junction City/ New Lexington, Ohio. The individual we are looking for must be a self-starter and able to perform the below tasks with very little or no supervision.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies.
• Team & Contractor Oversight: Supervise internal right-of-way agents, land negotiators, field personnel, or third-party contractors assigned to specific project spreads.
• Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quickly.
• Project Management & Budgeting: Track project timelines, manage budgets, develop status reports, and coordinate directly with Project Managers and clients
• Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assets.
• Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to right-of-way operations.
• Able to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervision.
• Mapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems).
• Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings).
• Ability to navigate multiple client databases.
• Experience with geoAMPS or Pandell Projects and ESRI GIS software is preferred
• Ability to conduct online research.
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.

Education/ Experience

• Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience in the right-of-way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management of right-of-way agents
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.

Pay Rate:

This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus a 7 day per weekper diem. This position offersfull health, vision & dental benefits.
