Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Sr. ROW Supervisor in Junction City/New Lexington, Ohio. You will lead right-of-way teams, manage projects, and negotiate surface agreements with owners and agencies.

The role requires seven years in ROW, three in management, and a relevant degree or diploma. Strong mapping skills (GIS/ESRI) and familiar with GIS tools are essential. Competitive benefits and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of experience in right-of-way, mainly negotiating pipelines easements.
• At least three years in management of right-of-way agents.
• Bachelor’s Degree, technical diploma, or high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with surface owners and local government agencies.
• Oversee internal right-of-way agents, land negotiators, and field personnel, including contractors.
• Represent client with professionalism and integrity; diffuse tense situations.
• Track timelines, manage budgets, and prepare status reports with Project Managers and clients.
• Negotiate surface agreements, easements, and access to assets.
• Understand surface use agreements, easements, and gov't regulations related to ROW.
• Conduct internal and external title research in courthouses without supervision.
• Utilize mapping software (GIS, Google Earth) and client mapping systems.
• Interpret drawings and redline alignment, plats, and construction drawings.
• Navigate multiple client databases; experience with geoAMPS, Pandell, and ESRI GIS preferred.

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of Sr.ROW Supervisor in Junction City/ New Lexington, Ohio. The individual we are looking for must be a self-starter and able to perform the below tasks with very little or no supervision.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains good relationships with surface owners and local government officials and agencies.
• Team & Contractor Oversight: Supervise internal right-of-way agents, land negotiators, field personnel, or third-party contractors assigned to specific project spreads.
• Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity. Can relate to people from various backgrounds. Can diffuse tense situations quickly.
• Project Management & Budgeting: Track project timelines, manage budgets, develop status reports, and coordinate directly with Project Managers and clients
• Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure necessary access to company assets.
• Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and gov't laws/regulations related to right-of-way operations.
• Able to conduct internal title research and external title research in the courthouse with no supervision.
• Mapping software experience (GIS, Google Earth, ability to deed plot, ability to learn any client internal mapping systems).
• Ability to interpret drawings and redline where needed (Alignment drawings, Certified Property Plats, Permit Drawings, Temporary Workspace Drawings, Construction Access Drawings).
• Ability to navigate multiple client databases.
• Experience with geoAMPS or Pandell Projects and ESRI GIS software is preferred
• Ability to conduct online research.
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.

Education/ Experience

• Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience in the right-of-way industry primarily dealing with negotiations of easements for pipelines.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in management of right-of-way agents
• Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or High School graduate.

Pay Rate:

This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus a 7 day per weekper diem. This position offersfull health, vision & dental benefits.
