Job summary

Entrust Corporation in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Sr. Rewind Operator to manage setup, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of rewind equipment on 1st shift (5am–2:30pm, Mon–Thu; 5am–9am Fri). Responsibilities include process verification, quality checks, and data collection for SPC.

Team mentoring and cross-training on adjacent equipment are expected. Preferred candidates have 4+ years on rewind equipment in flexographic or digital print environments, with solid mechanical and mathematical

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience working on rewind equipment in a flexographic or digital print environment.
• Experience with substrates including paper, film and poly.
• Experience using digital instruments and measuring devices to collect data.
• Must be able to communicate in basic English; read, write and understand.

Responsibilities

• Verify through work orders that job processes, spec sheets, samples, proofs and drawings are correct before production run.
• Maintain quality standards by checking registration, debris and overall quality.
• Use digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate SPC data.
• Troubleshoot and solve machine related problems such as tension, pressure, settings and web-breaks.
• Mentor less experienced Operators and support new product development efforts.

Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
