We are seeking a hands-on, process-driven Senior Restaurant Technology Administrator to serve as a key operational partner to the Technology Manager across the Pei Wei, Pei Wei Express, Pick Up Stix, and Leeann Chin brands. This role helps manage escalations, drive consistent execution, and deliver restaurant technology outcomes across projects, support operations, and platform initiatives. The ideal candidate brings ownership, urgency, follow-through, clear communication, and strong attention to detail to help ensure technology work is completed properly and service outcomes remain high quality.
Key Responsibilities
This role is expected to operate with ownership, urgency, and precision. Success requires proactive follow-up, clear communication, accurate documentation, disciplined change execution, and the ability to identify and communicate risks before they impact restaurant operations or project outcomes.
- Administer NCR Aloha POS and related restaurant technology platforms with accuracy and ownership, including menu lifecycle, configuration, reporting hierarchies, hardware technologies, digital ordering, loyalty, payments, gift cards, and third-party integrations.
- Develop, test, deploy, and support configuration changes, software updates, release cycles, pilots, and post-release activities while following change control procedures and minimizing restaurant and guest impact.
- Support new restaurant openings, remodels, conversions, and brand initiatives by coordinating technology readiness, implementation activities, issue resolution, launch support, and handoff to operations.
- Use service management practices to document issues, troubleshooting steps, resolution details, escalation notes, root cause patterns, and follow-up actions clearly and consistently.
- Recommend and maintain processes, procedures, runbooks, and support documentation that improve service quality, operational efficiency, troubleshooting consistency, and repeatable execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and the Technology Manager to manage priorities, remove barriers, escalates risks, and deliver project outcomes in support of Technology leadership priorities.
- Administer and support Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft identity services, Intune MDM, networking, RMM, help desk, reporting, analytics, database, and cloud-based systems as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience supporting restaurant technology systems in a multi-unit or enterprise restaurant environment.
- Hands-on experience with restaurant POS administration and related systems, including NCR Aloha, Configuration Center, kitchen display systems, online ordering, loyalty, staging, configuration, testing, installation, upgrades, and system support.
- Working knowledge of restaurant business systems and integrations, including sales, labor, cash management, inventory, reporting, imports/exports, payments, and related operational data flows.
- Experience supporting enterprise endpoint, productivity, identity, and device management platforms, preferably including Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Strong communication, prioritization, documentation, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced technical environment.
