We are seeking a skilled Sr. Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support one of our electric utility clients on regulatory reporting initiatives. This role is focused on enhancing reporting processes, including support for CPUC-related data requests and filings. The ideal candidate has experience in regulatory environments, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and can deliver accurate and timely reporting. This role will involve assessing current reporting workflows, conducting discovery, and working with internal data teams to streamline and implement improved processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead support for CPUC and other regulatory data requests (RSAR, RAMP, S-MAP, Accountability Reporting)
  • Own and manage RSAR deliverables and regulatory filings
  • Analyze regulatory data needs and drive reporting strategy and execution
  • Oversee data collection and ensure timely, accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to align on requirements and deliverables
  • Provide regulatory support and guidance to business units within the Electric Division
  • Prepare documentation for CPUC and other agencies related to cost estimates and project activities
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Mentor junior analysts and help guide team efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and reporting milestones using shared tools and systems
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure consistency across deliverables
  • Take ownership of assigned workstreams and manage them through completion
  • Apply project management discipline to plan, track, and deliver high-quality work
  • Maintain organized workflows and document work for transparency and accountability
  • Deliver services in a consultative, client-centric manner focused on partnership and results
  • Participate in client meetings with professionalism and active engagement
  • Adapt quickly to changes in priorities, scope, or direction based on client needs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, utility compliance, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of CPUC requirements and electric utility operations
  • Proven track record of managing regulatory filings and cross-departmental initiatives
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with or leading cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, engineering, or related field required; advanced degree a plus
