Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst (Technical) with strong AxiomSL experience to support US and European regulatory reporting efforts. This role involves focusing on remediation and control implementation, collaborating with Finance and IT to enhance reporting workflows and processes. Candidates should have extensive experience in regulatory reporting within financial services and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include defining business requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations, working independently or cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in financial services regulatory reporting.
• Strong experience with AxiomSL (v10 preferred).
• Familiarity with US regulatory reports (e.g., FFIEC 041, FR2900, FR2644); European exposure a plus.
• Advanced Excel and Word skills.
• Strong documentation and process design skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or cross-functionally.
• Experience with AxiomSL ControllerView.
• Background in regulatory remediation projects.
• Proficiency in documenting workflows, lineage, and risk/control processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and enhance regulatory reporting workflows and control processes.
• Develop and maintain AxiomSL v10 components: tables, aggregations, workflows, mappings, logic/rules, shorthands.
• Define and document business requirements and data lineage.
• Assist in remediation efforts for data quality and processing issues.
• Design process flows for report attestation and certification.
• Liaise with Technology for implementation, testing, and debugging of reporting updates.
• Produce documentation in compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Support training for US and EU regulatory reporting teams.

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

We are partnered with a leading global financial institution seeking a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst (Technical) with strong AxiomSL experience to support both US and European regulatory reporting efforts. This role will focus on remediation, control implementation, and data process substantiation in collaboration with Finance and IT.

• Analyze, document, and enhance regulatory reporting workflows and control processes
