Cathay Bank is seeking an experienced Operations Officer to oversee branch operations in California. The role involves ensuring operational integrity, compliance with policies, and leading branch staff effectively.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and a readiness to travel to multiple locations as needed. The position offers competitive hourly wages with additional benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.
Travel to various branches within assigned region to promote and support superior customer service and for monitoring/maintaining the quality of the operational activities within assigned region. Work closely with Deposit Operations Administration-Branch Services department for all branch operational procedures, and other areas within Deposit Operations Administration for problems or issues relating to audits, security, personnel, losses, or service. May provide recommendations to Deposit Operations Administration for improved branch procedures and/or changes. Responsible for ensuring that assigned branches comply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws/regulations. Maintain operational integrity for all branches within assigned Region. Operates with a leadership style that consistently demonstrates effective communication and empowerment. Supports region with service and sales objectives. Leads by example and manages through change and adversity.
$26.44 – $31.25 / hour. Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
