Sr. Regional Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy Lean Manufacturing concepts, principles, and Kaizen methodology across multiple plants within a region.
  • Support deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen in all plants as required, beyond the regional scope.
  • Teach and develop skills of plant CI Managers and team members through supporting Cornerstone Production System College, conducting Kaizen events, and developing training materials.
  • Assist plants in developing Annual Plans using Kaizen Methodology, including training, development, and meeting financial targets.
  • Conduct monthly follow-up calls to ensure plants meet their Annual Plans, providing support where needed.
  • Support scheduling of Fresh Eyes activities, Line Balancing improvements, and Standardized Work to meet cost-reduction targets.
  • Assist with pre- and post-launch Kaizen activities for new products in any plant requiring support.
  • Provide plant support for underperforming plants to meet targets.
  • Administer CBB Production System audit confirmations for award-level plants.
  • Ensure deployment of corporate CBB Production System concepts and principles in a standardized manner across all plants.
  • This role requires 75% travel, including international travel with a valid passport.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to facilitate change and teach others.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and principles.
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen Events, Kaizen College, and Fresh Eyes Activities.
