Job description

The Sr. Quality Engineer will report to the Technology Department. This role is responsible for leading a team of QA testers/engineers in testing our suite of products and software solutions to ensure high quality via SaaS and On-Premises models. You will be an experienced leader in implementing QA frameworks, processes, and strategies, and ensuring adherence to industry-standard quality assurance policies by measuring product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and lead the QA strategy, methodology, and framework, focusing on automation and agile testing.
2. Provide technical expertise in test automation, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
3. Define QA approaches for development projects and lead the QA team.
4. Manage performance, coaching, and professional development of QA staff.
5. Implement continuous QA improvements and enforce quality standards.
6. Monitor QA activities, analyze test results, and identify areas for process improvement.
7. Utilize testing tools effectively for functional, performance, and automation testing.
8. Oversee training and ongoing learning for QA team members.
9. Serve as the escalation point for testing and quality assurance issues.
10. Collaborate with development teams to develop and execute QA strategies.
11. Gather and present testing metrics to stakeholders.
12. Work with business partners to incorporate feedback into QA processes.
13. Facilitate communication across agile teams and measure product quality.
14. Plan detailed testing tasks during sprint planning and proactively address quality risks.
15. Design and develop automated test cases and frameworks.
16. Translate manual test cases into automated tests and ensure their integration.
17. Review and analyze automation code and test data.
18. Support timely releases and collaborate externally to foster a development community.
19. Review requirements and technical documents, provide feedback, and perform code reviews.
20. Maintain regression test suites and develop comprehensive test plans.
21. Identify, document, and track bugs; perform regression testing.
22. Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.
23. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
