Job summary

CentralReach is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to join the Engineering team in Holmdel, NJ, blending manual testing with automation to ensure high-quality software for ABA and related therapies.

You will drive test coverage across web, mobile, and API, collaborating with Product, Development, and DevOps in a hybrid work model. The role demands 5–7 years in QA, strong automation skills, and a passion for quality in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of Quality Assurance experience in an Agile engineering environment.
• Experience testing web and mobile SaaS applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Experience writing functional and non-functional test cases and managing a test case library.
• Experience with scripting languages to develop test automation scenarios.
• Deep understanding of UI test automation patterns and scalable automation.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the test case library to increase coverage across web, mobile, API and integrations.
• Create test cases for verification and validation of all platform components.
• Perform manual acceptance testing on an Agile team and report bugs/defects.
• Increase automated test coverage with reusable, deterministic scripts.
• Develop automated scripts within timeboxes to cover changes in the application.
• Maintain the test automation library for reliability during execution.
• Develop test plans to ensure full test coverage for releases.

CentralReach is looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer to work within our Engineering department. As a Quality Engineer, you will help drive quality throughout the entire software life cycle through collaboration with product and development teams, development of test cases and automation scripts, and analysis of the system to consistently deliver quality software to our customers. Key Accountabilities:

• Enhance the test case library to increase test case coverage.
• Create test cases for verification and validation of web, mobile, API and all system integrations.
• Perform manual acceptance testing on an Agile team, investigating issues and reporting bugs/defects.
• Increase automated test coverage with reusable and deterministic automation scripts.
• Develop automated scripts within expected timeboxes to ensure all work that may impact the system has coverage.
• Maintain the test automation library for high reliability during execution.
• Develop test plans thatensure full test coverage of changes in the application under testto supportreleases.
• Promote and encourage collaboration and quality related activities with theProduct andEngineering teams.
• Develop intelligent and efficient testing strategies to dramatically increase the ratio of internally found defects versus customer reported defects.
• Ensure quality releases of software with no production downs and/or critical impediments to users.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance working in an Agile Engineering environment.
• 5 to7 yearsofexperience testing web and mobile applications in a SaaS organization.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate withProduct,Engineering and DevOps.
• Experience writing test cases (functional and non-functional) and management of a test case library.
• Experience with scripting/programming languages to develop test automation scenarios for web and/or mobile applications, and API services.
• High level competency inprogramming/scriptinglanguagesand concepts.
• Deep understanding of UI Test Automation with best practices and patterns for building reliable and scalable automation.
• Experience parsing and verifying responses/payloads from API interfaces.
• Experience using API development/automation tools such as Postman.
• Ability to understand relational data in a database and query the database
• Experience formulating testing strategies for software releases.
• Solid understanding of utilizing different types of testing and best practices for creating testing suites targeting various phases of the development life cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile testing best practices and processes.
• Solid understanding of the CI/CD pipeline and integrating test automation to support stages of the pipeline.

Base Salary Range

$115,000 - $140,000 USD
