Duration - 12 months +

Location - Remote; candidates only near these locations: Philadelphia, PA; Princeton, NJ; Boston, MA; New York City; Chicago, IL

Rate - $50/hour W2

Client needs an experienced Senior Level IT QA Tester with a strong background in test automation using TOSCA. This individual will work with a US-based team of developers (3 in Philly), but the QAE team will be mainly offshore. The candidate should be able to mentor the offshore team and represent the team after offshore hours.

Technical Must Haves:

• 10 years of QA Testing experience
• 5+ years of experience with automation tools and optimizing test cases - TOSCA automation.
• Strong knowledge of TOSCA Test Suite, including test case design, test data management, and execution.
• Experience with Bamboo or Jenkins (integrating automated tests into CICD pipelines).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, qTest).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform various testing types: functional, regression, integration, end-to-end.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor/support offshore QA team members and provide guidance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain traceability of test cases to business requirements and comprehensive test documentation.
