Job description

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in developing test suites using various automation tools and designing test automation frameworks. The Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with the Development team, utilizing strong automation and testing skills in an agile environment.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

• At least 4 years of industry experience in test automation.
• At least 2 years of experience in REST API design, development, and automation frameworks.
• At least 2 years of experience with GUI and web testing.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
• Experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Deployment.
• Experience with various test development and test management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and experience in REST API automation and testing (Rest Assured framework).
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Understanding of Java coding and ability to understand code.
• JMeter experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of API or UI tests.
• Write quality, well-tested, and documented code.
• Adhere to development best practices and standards.
• Support existing systems by diagnosing issues and bugs.
• Work closely with developers to improve testability of applications.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Management.
• Follow Agile development practices and support the team in doing so.

About the Team

The Market Access Intelligence (MAI) team is part of the ‘HDS’ within Clarivate’s Life Sciences division. The team provides comprehensive data on managed markets, payer, PBM, and employer landscapes, supporting strategic planning and resource allocation.

The ~10-member technology team works closely with Product and Project Management across multiple solutions. The team aims to elevate its maturity and scale within the wider Life Sciences organization.

Hours of Work

• Full-time in IST zone
• 40 hours/week
