Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience with protein purification including ÄKTA systems.
• Detail-oriented, independent work style and proactive team-player.
• Lab safety and rigorous scientific documentation.
• Experience scaling from lab to pilot-scale manufacturing and column packing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute recombinant protein purification using ÄKTA systems and gravity column chromatography, taking ownership of daily tasks.
• Run purification workflows from small-scale runs to large-scale production to ensure consistent yield and purity.
• Independently troubleshoot routine expression and purification protocols to improve process efficiency.
• Perform protein quantification, quality assessment, and characterization to ensure deliverables meet project specifications.
• Maintain detailed inventory records of purified proteins and raw materials; adhere to SOPs and documentation standards for data integrity.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with your supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project timelines.
