Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Sr. Project Manager/TPM to lead Retail Planning Systems programs in a hybrid New York setting (Tue-Thu on-site at Broadway, NY 10018).

Responsibilities include owning integrated project plans across multiple workstreams, tracking milestones and dependencies, facilitating planning sessions, and updating executive dashboards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, and blockers to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior project management role.
• Experience supporting Retail IT Planning Systems Leadership and teams.
• Managed multiple concurrent workstreams and dependencies.
• Partnered with PMs within programs to coordinate interdependencies.
• Produces high-level timeless and detailed project plans.
• Hands-on management of action items, issues and risks.
• Drives accountability across teams.
• Excellent communication with senior executives.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Track milestones, critical path items, dependencies, and delivery dates.
• Facilitate weekly planning sessions with workstream leads.
• Update executive dashboards and program status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Merchandising, Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Store Ops, Finance, Data & Analytics, IT, Vendors.
• Run RAID reviews and escalate blockers affecting timeline, budget, or scope.
• Ensure action items have owners and due dates; drive accountability across teams.
• Meet with business stakeholders to review forecast model progress and data readiness; coordinate UAT and replenishment changes.
• Oversee rollout planning and testing across stores and distribution centers.

Duties/Day to Day Overview

• Program & Project Planning
• Own and maintain integrated project plans across multiple workstreams (business, IT, data, integrations, testing, change management).
• Track milestones, critical path items, dependencies, and delivery dates.
