The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong communication, and a track record delivering ERP/WMS/OMS projects in retail/e‑commerce environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects of varying sizes and lead software implementation initiatives (ERP, WMS, OMS, POS, E‑Commerce).
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership to analyze requirements, develop designs, and implement solutions.
• Monitor and manage project financials, scope, and schedule to keep projects on track.
• Serve as primary day‑to‑day liaison with business and operations, building strong relationships.
• Facilitate status meetings with project team, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Assist IS team during requirements, design, testing, and UAT sessions.
• Coordinate IS project teams to ensure requirements translate into design specs and integrations.
• Identify and solve complex business problems; conduct BR gathering and To‑Be workshop sessions.

Job description

The IS Sr. Technical Project Manager plays an important role in allowing business executives and stakeholders to bring their business ideas to fruition. With their business, strategy, and technical acumen, the Sr. Program Manager works with business, technology teams, and vendors to manage the gathering of requirements, design/architecture of solutions, and oversees them to completion.

• Manage projects of varying sizes as required by the company. Bring your large software project management experience to help bring software implementation projects to successful completion.
• Manage projects by providing day-to-day leadership to analyze their requirements, develop the designs, and implement in-house legacy solutions.
• Monitor and manage project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure project stays on track for assigned projects or portfolio of projects.
• Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business and the operational aspects of the project, including a focus on building strong business relationships.
• Facilitate regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
• Assist IS team members in the key project delivery during requirements, design, testing and user acceptance testing sessions.
• Coordinate IS project teams to ensure that business requirements are effectively incorporated into design specifications, multi-platform integrations and data transfers.
• Identifies, assesses, and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Conduct the Business Requirements gathering and To-Be state design workshops.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience managing multiple large software implementations – ERP, WMS, OMS, Planning, POS, E-Commerce Systems, etc.

• Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or Management
