About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and guide development efforts. This role involves working with developers, product managers, and the CTO to drive project success, while being hands-on when needed. Strong understanding of Node.js development and a proven track record of successful product launches are essential. Prior experience with peer-to-peer stacks, especially Holepunch, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Lead, oversee, and plan day-to-day development activities.
2. Collaborate with developers, product, and leadership teams to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Guide the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
4. Provide guidance and resolve technical issues as required.
5. Ensure timely delivery according to project timelines.
6. Drive improvements in processes and practices.
7. Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing multiple projects.
2. 2+ years of experience in software development with Node.js.
3. Basic understanding of peer-to-peer systems.
4. Experience with Python, C++, and Rust is a plus.
5. Proven success in launching products.
6. Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and good development practices.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams.
8. Experience managing developers of varying experience levels.
9. Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
