Role Overview

As Sr Project Manager on the Egnyte Professional Services team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing multiple customer projects to ensure timely completion within budget and scope. You will allocate resources, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders updated. Your main goal is to lead projects from initiation through delivery to closure, meeting all customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have broad experience handling sensitive situations professionally and are self-motivated to provide excellent customer service. The Principal Professional Services Project Manager will be a key part of Egnyte’s Professional Services organization, helping customers maximize their investment.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage complex programs and projects for successful customer deployment and adoption of Egnyte’s platform.
2. Manage deliverables, risks, timelines, ROI, and issues.
3. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for smooth project completion.
4. Communicate professionally while following SOPs.
5. Ensure internal and client-facing documentation are current and aligned with company goals.
6. Predict and manage resources effectively, responding quickly to client issues during implementation.
7. Manage scope, schedule, and costs of projects using appropriate techniques.
8. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
9. Maintain overall customer relationship and satisfaction throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of project management experience in customer-facing implementation roles within a technology organization.
• Proven experience working with external customers and internal teams like Sales, Engineering, and Product Management.
• Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and multi-tasking ability.
• Experience handling escalations at all levels.
• Understanding of project financials including revenue, costs, and margins.
• Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience developing and following a repeatable project methodology.
• Understanding of data, storage, API integration, and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Standard U.S. base salary range: $115k - $123k annually, varies by location and experience. Benefits include health, retirement plans, flexible hours, paid time off, and more. Locations include Spokane, WA; Draper, UT; Raleigh, NC; Mountain View, CA; Reading, England; Poznan, Poland.
